The manufacturing and service sectors received assurances from President Bola Tinubu on Friday in Abuja that additional reforms will be implemented to increase productivity and draw in investment. This is necessary in order to stem the growing rural-urban migration, which can only be stopped by increasing investments in digital technology, which will directly improve healthcare and education for the underprivileged.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, Dele Alake, Tinubu also pledged that the current economic “revolution” will be purposefully guided to capture and benefit the nation’s thronging youth population.

The President told a group from MTN, led by Group Chairman Mcebisi Jonas, at the State House, “We have a responsibility to revolutionise the economy so that our youths can share in the prosperity of the nation. Otherwise, we are only waiting for the dreams to be charted.”
“If you have any problems or impediments, do let us know. We are ready to remove bottlenecks to investments in the economy,’’ the President noted while acknowledging the sweeping changes across the world, largely driven by technology.
