Governor Simi Fubara of Rivers State and President Bola Tinubu are currently having a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The governor arrived at the Presidential Villa by himself about 5:35 p.m. and went straight to the president’s office, in contrast to the last time he visited the State House with a delegation of his loyalists during the peace meeting with his estranged political godfather and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

The agenda for his visit was not disclosed at the time when this piece was filed, but it might have something to do with the political dispute between the governor and the minister of the Federal Capital Territory regarding leadership of the PDP structure in Rivers State.
