The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has been criticised by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for being a failing government, despite the fact that PDP candidates who were voted to office were keeping their pledges.
The announcement came after it was revealed that Decklar Resources Inc., the owners of the Oza oil field, and Millenium Oil & Gas Company Limited, a co-venturer, had shipped 75,500 barrels of petroleum to two modular refineries in Edo State so far.

In response to the news, the party wrote on its official X handle on Friday, saying that all APC governments had failed and that it was highly commendable that 75,500 barrels of crude oil from Oza Oil Field had been delivered to two state refineries to start oil production.
According to the party, it is evidence of the fantastic investment opportunity that the state’s governor, Godwin Obaseki, has made available to both domestic and foreign businesses.
“The story coming from Edo State on the commencement of oil production with the delivery of 75,500 barrels of crude from Oza oil field to two refineries in the state is highly commendable. The is a great leap and a testament to the wonderful investment opportunity the @GovernorObaseki administration has created for both local and international companies.
“Unlike the failed @OfficialAPCNg governments at all levels, the @OfficialPDPNig Governors are performing and fulfilling their promises and the letters of the manifesto of our great party, the PDP.”
