The Nigeria Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika has on Tuesday said that the Nigeria Government is planning to construct ten new airports across the country in order to boost the aviation sector.
The aviation minister who disclosed this on Tuesday while facing the Senate Committee on Aviation during the defence of his mistry’s budget said building the new ten airports is very important for the growth of the country’s aviation sector.
Sirika noted that the present government have with the help of National Assembly have done enough justice to the aviation sector since 2015 by developing a roadmap that is currently being implementing by his ministry.

The aviation minister revealed that the states where his ministry is planning to build a new airports are Ebonyi, Nasarawa, Gombe, Anambra, Benue, and Ekiti,
Sirika noted that the airports at Kebbi, Dtse and Osubi have been taken over by the Federal Government for a proper development.
