Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, better known by his stage name Charly Boy, has criticised pastors Enoch Adeboye, William Kumuyi, and Prof. Wole Soyinka for rallying support for President Bola Tinubu.
In response to statement credited to Adeboye, Kumiyi and Soyinka, Charly Boy made this announcement on Saturday via X, formerly Twitter claiming Tinubu had exposed the duo.
Think of pastor Adeboye, pastor Kumiyi, Soyinka and others as men of honor who would have gone to their graves,” said Charly Boy. We now know them as men devoid of integrity and honor. “However, Tinubu has exposed them.
In the past, pastors Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Kumuyi of the Deeper Life Church have advised Nigerians to have faith in Tinubu’s leadership.

Pastor Adeboye sang along with his audience as he declared that there “shall be a new Nigeria” before to Tinubu’s inauguration as president in May.
One of the lyrics said, “There shall be a new Nigeria!” This is a decision that we must all make.
“We’ll see the nation of our dream, as we commit to prayers.”
Similarly, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the General Overseer of Deeper Life Church, asked Nigerians to forget the past and welcome the new leaders while speaking to reporters recently.
The preacher cautioned Nigerians against criticising the current administration in a video that was shared on the country’s internet by AIT.
“This is a new day, and I believe; we all believe that through our president and cabinet members, our country will see new things.” He predicted, “Good things will come to pass.”
