Effective and efficient public service coordination has been described as a panacea to the economic prosperity and development of any Country.
This was the submission of the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh when he paid a courtesy call on the Management of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, in Abuja.
Dr. Jamoh said the collaboration between the Bureau and NIMASA, on the designs and implementation of the transformational initiatives in the nation’s maritime sector, was a bold step in the right direction.
He was represented on the visit, by the Director in charge of the Reforms Coordination and Strategic Management, in NIMASA, Dr. Kabir Murnai, who explained that a sustainable relationship between the two Agencies of Government, was very essential for a robust capacity development.
In a response, the Director of Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr Dasuki Arabi, who appreciated Dr. Jamoh and his team for the visit, pledged the Bureau’s Commitments toward their collaborative agreement, which he believed would forged a mutual benefit for the two Agencies of Government.
The Bureau was established in 2004, to coordinate the implementation of reforms of Government policies and programmes.
