Gerard Deulofeu, a former forward for Barcelona, has stated that he might not play football again.
Spanish professional football player Gerard Deulofeu Lázaro is a member of the Serie A club. Udinese began his professional career with Barcelona, making his debut with the first squad at the age of 17. He later went on loan to Everton and Sevilla, before settling on a permanent contract with the former in the summer of 2015.

He returned to Barcelona in June 2017 following a fruitful loan stint with Italian team AC Milan. In January 2018, he was loaned to Watford, where he was eventually signed on a permanent basis later that year.
The 29-year-old stated on the Jijantes Twitch channel (via Daily Star) that he is still recovering from a terrible knee injury he had last year:
“For several months I have known that I might not play again.
“I can’t do what I love for a long time.
“I am trying to recover in every way, but I have accepted the idea that I may never recover.”
