The 66th Grammy Awards recipients were revealed on Friday night. Notable Nigerian musicians Burna Boy and Davido are among those nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards. The award ceremony is set to honour records released between October 1, 2022, and September 15, 2023.
With nine nominations, SZA is the front-runner for the 66th annual Grammy Awards, which are scheduled to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 4, 2024.
In addition to winning three categories, including “Best Global Album” for his most recent album, “Timeless,” Davido is receiving his first-ever nomination for the esteemed prize.
His songs “Unavailable” and “Feel” are also nominated for Best African Performance and Best Global Music Performance, respectively.

Davido posted on his X handle, seemingly overjoyed by the news, “3 nominations at the Grammys!! “Delay is not Denial!! ”
Burna Boy, who has already won the esteemed prize, was nominated in four categories: “City Boys” (Best African Music Performance), “I Told Them” (Best Global Music Album), “Sitting On Top of the World” (Best Melodic Rap), and “Alone” (Best Global Music Performance).
Tems, Asake, Arya Starr, and Olamide are among the other Nigerian singers who received at least one nomination.
