On Sunday, a source close to Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, asserted that the former governor of Lagos State is a man who values loyalty.
According to the source who spoke with Punch, it would be abnormal for Tinubu to exclude individuals who voluntarily helped him win the presidential election, including Chimaroke Nnamani, Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, and others.

According to the source, Asiwaju is a man who appreciates fidelity, dedication, and effort.
The source added that former governors of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose and Oyo State Seyi Makinde, who won their states for the APC, could also receive rewards when Tinubu assumes office on May 29, 2023.
The allegations made by the source in Tinubu’s camp follow suggestions that Tinubu, who is now travelling in France, may have begun putting his ministerial nominations and other cabinet members to work.
Recall that on April 4, 2023, former APC presidential candidate Nicolas Felix indicated on Arise TV that Tinubu will look outside of party lines while selecting his cabinet and ministers. Felix served as one of Tinubu’s foot soldiers during his South-South campaign rallies.
