The Lagos State Assembly has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency address insecurity and other challenges affecting the Country.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa made the call under a matter of urgent public importance at plenary.
He suggested an increase in security personnel and youth employment to tackle crimes such as terrorism, banditry and kidnapping.
Earlier the Leader of the House, Mr. Sanai Agunbiade who raised the issue, condemned the incessant attacks and security challenges posed by Boko-Haram insurgency, IPOB and other bandits resulting in loss of lives and properties.

He noted that insurgency had become worrisome as no geographical zone in the Country was free from attack.
Members of the House while commending Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for sustaining the security architecture in the State, urged him to do more to secure Communities and sensitive Government infrastructure.
