The most resilient person or political entity decides the outcome of elections in Nigeria, according to afrobeats singer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido.
In a series of tweets on his X feed on Wednesday, Davido responded to the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja by writing: “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”

He also urged political unification in another post, writing: “A divided house cannot stand…… everybody long throat.. well.”
Recall how, in a 12-hour ruling, the Presidential Election Petitions Court rejected the petitions challenging Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election. Tinubu, a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the election, which the court recognised as legitimate.
