The Chief Judge of Lagos, Justice Kazeem Alogba has said that all courts in the State which were looted and razed by suspected hoodlums will not sit this week, neither will they be available to the public.
Instead, this week will be spent assessing the extent of damage to the court and sorting through the debris.
Justice Alogba is appealing to members of the public to exercise patience and cooperate with the Judiciary while it conducts this assessment.

The Chief Judge promised to give further information on the resumption of the courts at a later date.
