Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON is still in Germany undergoing medical care, according to Richard Olatunde, his chief press secretary, on Saturday.
In reaction to a social media video suggesting his principal’s return, Olatunde, who made the claim in a statement, said: “While we acknowledge the eagerness of the people of the state, as well as supporters and well-wishers from both within and outside the country to have the Governor back, we want to clarify that Governor Akeredolu is currently in Germany, focused on his full recovery.
The video in question, which is circulating, was recorded during the governor’s campaign tour ahead of the most recent presidential and national assembly elections, according to the governor’s chief press secretary.
Governor Akeredolu is keen to reconnect with the Sunshine State’s residents. The outpouring of love and support has greatly touched him, and he is eager to keep pushing for a better future for Ondo State.
