Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has spoken on the nation’s present insecurity issues.
InsightnaijaTV reports that the former governor of Anambra State expressed compassion for the families of the troops slain by terrorists in Abuja in a post that was published on Twitter.
When such deaths may have been prevented, Obi fretted about the routine responsibilities of sending condolence notes to bereaved families.
The LP flagbearer urged the Federal Government to take all necessary steps to halt the nation’s never-ending stream of tears.
He wrote: “I deeply console the families and loved ones of our soldiers killed by terrorists. It’s becoming regular duties to send such condolences for avoidable deaths. So sad! Our government should please do whatever is necessary to stop this daily flow of tears.”
